Event Details

The Dash & Splash is a scenic, gently-rolling, down-and-back course that takes you alongside Keuka Lake, under shaded trees, and past charming lake houses. The entire run takes place just off of Hwy 54 on Keuka Village Road and starts/finishes at the popular lake-side restaurant, The Switz.

Due to the summer heat, we set up water stops at the 1- and 2-mile marks and offer professional timing services for those of you looking to earn a new personal record.

While the finish line is on dry land (for safety reasons), you are more than welcome to take a leap off the end of the docks at The Switz for a post-run cool down. Please note, there is no lifeguard on duty so swimming is at your own risk.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get outside and enjoy a happy, healthy lifestyle.

In 2010, DASH runners who were looking to shed their summer training shoes donated their kicks in exchange for a pair of DASH flip-flops. In total, more than 70 pairs were collected. After a thorough cleaning and some spiffing-up, we're happy to report that all shoes were donated to local schools and activity centers.

Further, in the event that the race generates a profit after expenses, all remaining dollars are earmarked for Keuka Comfort Care - a gorgeous facility that helps ease people and their families through the last stages of their life.
